Taylor Kitsch Stars in Call of Duty Commercial (Video)

True Detective is about to start production, and second season star Taylor Kitsch is warming up by starring in another production from Peter Berg.
Taylor Kitsch noted this past week that he’s going to be in the new season of the hit HBO series True Detective, but he’s stepping in front of the camera for another project before then. Every time a new Call of Duty game is released, a live-action commercial by some big name director is produced.

This time around, the task was placed at the feet of Peter Berg who cast Kitsch in the commercial in a rather prominent role. We’ve seen famous faces in the Call of Duty spots before, but seeing Kitsch in there gets us all excited for True Detective for some weird reason.
Check out the commercial starring Kitsch below:
Berg and Kitsch are a tandem that remains underrated in Hollywood. In addition to the commercial for Call of Duty, the dup have teamed up for films like Lone Survivor and Battleship as well as Berg giving Kitsch his first big break in the Friday Night Lights television series on NBC back in the late 2000s.
This could lead to Berg getting involved with True Detective — which wouldn’t be a bad thing — but for now, Kitsch seems to be warming himself up for his role in True Detective.
