Watch the Trailer for Andy Samberg’s 7 Days in Hell Starring Kit Harington
By Sam Rideout
HBO released the new trailer for their upcoming mockumentary 7 Days in Hell starring Andy Samberg and Kit Harington, also known as Jon Snow for all those Game of Thrones fans out there.
And…. IT’S AWESOME!
Check it out!
I’m speechless. I didn’t think the trailer could be better than the teaser, but it’s so much better!

The premise of this mockumentary is brilliant. As far as tennis goes, there’s not a lot of big stories that generate a lot of mainstream news. Back in 2010 at Wimbledon, however, John Isner and Nicolas Mahut played the longest match in Wimbledon history, which had to be the inspiration for the movie.
Obviously, that idea was taken to the extreme in 7 Days in Hell. The film was written by Murray Miller, who is best known for his work as a producer of Girls, American Dad, and King of the Hill, and it was directed by Jake Szymanski, whose best directing credits include eight episodes of Saturday Night Live, John Mulaney: New In Town, and an episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
There’s no possible way this movie could be bad!
First of all, it’s HBO… I think that speaks for itself. Second, look at how many stars are in this movie: Samberg, Harington, Lena Dunham, Serena Williams, Michael Sheen, Mary Steenburgen, Karen Gillan, Will Forte, Fred Armisen, Lena Dunham, David Copperfield, June Squibb, John McEnroe, Chris Evert.
That’s about as good as a cast gets, right?
The only possible problem I see with 7 Days in Hell is that it’s only 45 minutes long. I think I know what you’re thinking…
SEQUEL! SEQUEL! SEQUEL!
Please, HBO, make a sequel happen already!
7 Days in Hell airs on July 11 at 10 p.m. EST on HBO, HBO Go, and HBO Now.
Correction (June 23): The original version of this post incorrectly stated the airdate as June 22, 2015. The correct date is now featured.
