Get a Better Look at Colin Farrell in this Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Featurette (Video)
We can finally see a bit more of Colin Farrell in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them thanks to new clip.
In case you’re living under a rock, Harry Potter is coming back in pog form in the form of a new spinoff/prequel series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Since Harry Potter is one of the largest and most popular film franchises of all time, it’s no wonder that they’ve been early to let fans in and build the hype.

we’ve known for a while that Colin Farrell would have an important role in the new film, but we actually haven’t been able to get a good look at him in his Wizard’s garb. He can be seen in the trailer for a second or two, and that’s about it. Pottermore recently unleashed an over two-minute featurette about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Colin Farrell can be more clearly seen. Check it out:

Okay, so, Colin Farrell is only in that clip for two seconds. Again. This time we at least get a closer look at him, but that’s about it. He may not be the star — and is therefore not interviewed like Eddie Redmayne — but there can be little doubt that he is being intentionally kept hidden from sight.
There’s just enough information out there to confirm that he’s actually in the movie and not really anything more. Frankly, it’s semi-reminiscent of how True Detective operates. For Potter fans, this feature is something of a boon ahead of the new movie. Wizard obsessives need not apply, unless you just want to see how Farrell pulls off that Wizard look.

He does a pretty good job.
