This Week in True Detective: Vince Vaughn Edition
This Week in True Detective brings the best of True Detective news from the past week.
While we eagerly, yet patiently, wait for news on True Detective season three, the actors have all moved on. Although there was no actual news this week concerning Vince Vaughn, this edition of This Week in True Detective is named after him because of his upcoming movies. True Detective may have actually changed his career.
First up, superhero shows are big right now. As are superhero movies, and just about superhero everything. Shows like Daredevil and Jessica Jones offer lessons that True Detective could use in season three. Nic Pizzolatto is a comic fan, so who knows.
Woody Harrelson’s next movie, The Glass Castle, is close to casting Naomi Watts. It will be Harrelson’s first foray in the dramdy genre in quite a while. For Colin Farrell fans, new footage of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be shown at the MTV Movie Awards, which take place Sunday (tomorrow) night.
