Doctor Who: Peter Capaldi has Filmed his Doctor’s Death
Doctor Who’s current Doctor Peter Capaldi has already filmed the death of the 12th Doctor.
We know that the end of Peter Capaldi’s run as the Doctor on Doctor Who is upon us. Series 10 was always supposed to be the last season of the 12th Doctor. Now according to the Sydney Morning Herald Capaldi has filmed his Doctor’s final moments.
Capaldi told the Sydney Morning Herald that he filmed the death of the 12th Doctor the other day. Capaldi described the death of twelve as…
"“It was a strange day. It was explosive. He goes out a fighter.”"
Now it could certianly be that the 12th Doctor still dies and regenerates during the Christmas special this year, but why would that have been filmed already? The Christmas special is a long way off, there’s plenty of time to have this season and then have the Christmas special be the first appearance of the 13th Doctor.

When you put Peter Capaldi having already filmed the Doctor’s death together with the fact that the regeneration of the Doctor was teased in the series 10 trailer it really starts to look like Capaldi’s Doctor isn’t going to make it all the way to Christmas.
The question of course is will we see the next Doctor during series 10, or will the new Doctor arrive during the Christmas special. We don’t know how this could happen of course, but there’s also always the chance that some old Doctors or characters might return for Steven Moffat’s final season as well.
Doctor Who is a show about change and no matter what’s about to happen there are big changes on the way for series 10.
