Fargo Season 3, Episode 2 live stream: Watch ‘The Principle of Restricted Choice’ online

Fargo Season 3 continues tonight, April 26, with the second episode entitled, “The Principle of Restricted Choice.”

We were introduced to Fargo’s newest cast of characters in last week’s premiere, which ended with two deaths that will loom large over the entire season. Season 3 of the FX series revolves around brothers Ray and Emmit Stussy, the latter of which is the handsome and highly successful “Parking Lot King of Minnesota” who runs into trouble due to an unexpected business partner in the mysterious V.M. Varga.

Younger brother Ray, meanwhile, is a portly and balding parole officer whose jealousy of his brother and desire to buy an engagement ring for his beautiful girlfriend, Nikki, one of his parolees, leads to the hiring of stoner parolee Maurice, who’s killed in dramatic fashion by the couple after he bungles the theft of rare stamps from what he thinks is Emmitt’s home, resulting in the death of the stepfather of a police chief named Gloria in a neighboring county in a case of mistaken identity

The synopsis for tonight’s installment, Episode 2 “The Principle of Restricted Choice” reads:

"Gloria deals with the aftermath of a crime, Varga makes a move, and Ray and Nikki move on to Plan B."

The vague description is expounded upon in the trailer for the new episode. The clip shows Gloria discussing the death of her stepfather, Ennis Stussy, revealing that his nose and mouth were glued shut by Maurice, though she’s yet to know the identity of the now-deceased killer.

Meanwhile, Ray is panicked at the thought that he and Nikki quickly disposed of Maurice by dropping an air conditioner on his head after he blackmailed them, getting a pair of slaps in the face from his ex-con girlfriend after he exclaims that he’s never killed anyone before.

Lastly, we see that Varga’s move is a literal one, as he’s seen moving in a big truck on the property of Emmit’s business, Stussy Lots Limited, leading his right-hand man Sy to question whether it contains booze, guns or even “slave girls.” In the premiere, we learned that Emmit took out what he thought was a loan from Varga’s employer, but he learns that it was actually an investment as a means to use the parking lot company as a front for up their own shady dealings.
