WARNING: THIS POST MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR SERIES 10 OF DOCTOR WHO. TIME IS A TIMEY-WIMEY BALL, BUT THERE WILL BE NO GOING BACK IF YOU READ THIS. THIS POST IS A FIXED POINT IN TIME. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

As Doctor Who series 10 progresses we are finding out more and more about the mysterious vault that the Doctor is guarding. Obviously for the Doctor to have taken an oath to guard something it must be something very dangerous indeed.

The Doctor has dealt with dangers before though, and he hasn’t personally babysat them. Remember how he trapped the family of blood…

This time, however, the Doctor is having dinner with the thing in the vault. He provided his prisoner with a piano even. So the Doctor holds some sort of sentimentality towards whoever or whatever is in the vault.

There is one being that the Doctor once offered to spend eternity serving as the jailer for…

It has to be the Master. It’s the only being in the universe that the Doctor would willingly put aside his travels to keep. Even though the Master is the Doctor’s greatest foe he’s also the only other Time Lord left. The Doctor would of course keep and care for the Master.

We also know that John Simm is returning this season as the Master. So that also fits in perfectly with the Master being in the Doctor’s vault. The only question left is, how will the Master escape the vault? Because obviously, he’s going to escape. The Doctor vs. the Master, Doctor Who series 10 just keeps getting better and better.

What do you think? Do you think it’s the Master in the Doctor’s vault? Let us know in the comments below.
