5 American Gods Predictions for episode 6, “A Murder of Gods”
4. Mr. World is going to be very unhappy with Wednesday.
With the introduction of the uber-creepy businessman god Mr. World this week and Wednesday’s rejection of his offer to welcome him into the ranks of the new gods, we have a feeling that there was a lot more animosity behind that smile when they concluded their business in the interrogation room.
We think that Mr. World is going to be our main villain for the rest of the season (with the ever-annoying Tech Boy coming in a close second and Media, yes we find her a bit annoying too, coming in a close third).

The question is though: is Mr. World and the new gods actual villains? If you think about it everything they tell Wednesday is absolutely true: technology and the world are both ever evolving with the old always fading away if it doesn’t evolve. So we’ll have to see how the rest of the season plays out to determine who the heroes and villains of this story will be.
5. The importance of Bilquis and the Jinn
Two of the most interesting characters we have met this season, yet they have not seemed to have any significance regarding the main plot of the series revolving around Shadow Moon and Wednesday (besides their controversial sex scenes).
We know that both characters align with the old gods and we assume that Wednesday will eventually find them on his road-trip to rally the old gods, but we hope that we will see more of these two as the show progresses towards the season’s end because they may be the most powerful old gods out there, in Wednesday’s war against the new gods.
