Video: Watch the preview for Game of Thrones 703 “The Queen’s Justice”
Game of Thrones season 7 continues this Sunday with “The Queen’s Justice,” and HBO has released the preview.
Daenerys Targaryen kicks off the Game of Thrones episode 703 preview with a line we’ve been hearing since the first season 7 trailer hit months ago: “I was born to rule the Seven Kingdoms, and I will.” And, just like that, we’ve embarked on a week long journey to Sunday night, when the episode airs. As you can see, Euron Greyjoy has returned to King’s Landing, fresh off of his win on the high seas against Theon and Yara Greyjoy, and it looks like he’s got a gift or two in tow to present to Cersei. Huh, I didn’t expect Euron would be a man of his word.
Cersei seems to be confident, if not overly cocky in Euron’s victory, claiming she has drawn first blood in the battle against Daenerys. Tyrion notes that Cersei will be ready for Dany’s army, and it appears as if he’s talking about the Unsullied’s assault on Casterly Rock because the next few scenes are of that particular attack.
Finally, we see Jon Snow and Davos Seaworth ushered into the throne room at Dragonstone, where Daenerys sits, regally awaiting them.
As a long-time A Song of Ice and Fire book fan, and of course, Game of Thrones dedicated watcher since season 1, it is a bit surreal to see Dany and Jon in the same room. This has been a moment that many, many fans have been waiting for, and I can’t wait to see how it all shakes out This Sunday.
