Fear the Walking Dead is set to jump way ahead in time come season 4

When AMC announced that Lennie James was bringing the character of Morgan to Fear the Walking Dead, fans debated what that could mean.

Many fans just assumed that this meant that the fourth season of Fear the Walking Dead would take place when Morgan was wandering around, going crazy after the death of his son and before meeting up with Rick and company again. However, that is not the case at all.

Instead, Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 will jump far into the future, catching the spin-off series up with the events in the regular Walking Dead series. This time jump means that Morgan will NOT die this season and will just leave Rick and company and join up with Madison and whoever is left alive on Fear the Walking Dead.

This news is a huge shock.

Fear the Walking Dead had an interesting premise when it started, as it showed the actual outbreak of the zombie apocalypse whereas Walking Dead didn’t show when it began, picking up instead when Rick Grimes woke up from his coma.

The first season was a bit hard to get through, as many characters introduced failed to make an impact on many viewers. However, the second – and more importantly – the third season picked up and is almost better than the regular Walking Dead series. With that said, everything is about to change.

The third season of Fear the Walking Dead ended, Nick blew the dam, which swept away Madison, Strand and Alicia while Nick and Daniel stood on the dam as it crumbled. So, the question remained – who survived outside of Madison?

However, the fourth season of Fear the Walking Dead will not necessarily open with that cliffhanger. Instead, the show will jump way ahead in time, and Robert Kirkman said in the letter’s page of the Walking Dead #176 comic book (via Screen Rant) that Season 8 of Walking Dead will lead directly into the premiere of Fear the Walking Dead Season 4.

The producers already said that Season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead would be a great story for Morgan, but the show has to let fans know what happened after Season 3 and how they ended up wherever they do (in Texas) to start Season 4.
