The Ash vs. Evil Dead season 3 premiere is finally here, and it looks like Ash has some family problems to add to his never-ending battle with the Deadittes.

More from Ash vs. Evil Dead

When the second season of Ash vs. Evil Dead ended, Ash (Bruce Campbell) was finally a hero, defeating the Deadittes, and banishing them all to hell, while saving his friends and his town. However, things never go well for Ash, and someone found the book and things are about to get bad again for the one-handed butt kicker.

This season promises the biggest Deaditte that anyone has ever seen and also seems to hint that this might be the end of Ash’s battle. Could this be the final season of the Starz horror comedy? If it is, it is time to enjoy it while it lasts.

There is also a new dynamic, as Ash, Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Dana (Kelly Maxwell) are joined by Brandy Barr (Arielle Carver-O’Neill), the long-lost daughter of Ash that none of us ever knew existed. Ruby (Lucy Lawless) is also back to cause more problems for our heroes.

Here is the synopsis from Starz of the Ash vs. Evil Dead season 3 premiere, “Family.”

"The third season finds Ash’s status in Elk Grove, Michigan has changed from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. Blood is thicker than water in the battle of good vs Evil Dead!"

Here is the special Ash vs. Evil Dead season 3 Comic-Con trailer, which shows a very frightening little child Deaditte.

And, for fun, here is an Ash vs. Evil Dead trailer reimagined as a ’70s sitcom.
