When The Walking Dead last aired, Rick Grimes and the survivors at Alexandria learned that Carl was bitten by a zombie, which means his days are numbered. With Rick’s only son dying and Negan still destroying everything Rick built, the All-Out War is about to get even more violent.
While Carl (Chandler Riggs) has not died yet, there is little hope for the young man that fans have watched grow from a young boy over the years into what many assumed was the heir apparent to Rick Grimes and the future of the world.
With many cast members, such as Andrew Lincoln (Rick) and Danai Gurira (Michonne) talking about how heartbreaking it is to lose Carl, and Riggs at the same time, it seems like this is the episode where fans can now say goodbye. As a matter of fact, executive producer Greg Nicotero even said that The Walking Dead mid-season premiere made him cry, so get your handkerchiefs ready.
