Ash vs. Evil Dead season 3 has introduced two new characters, including a daughter that Ash never knew existed.

With the first season three episode aired, and Ash (Bruce Campbell) realizing he needs to protect his daughter from the resurrected Deadittes, things start to heat up in episode two, “Booth Three.”

Starz has released a brand-new video clip showing fans what they can expect from the newest episode of Ash vs. Evil Dead, which includes some deranged Deadittes, the new characters trying to get along, and a disturbing shot of Ruby (Lucy Lawless) trying to comfort Ash’s daughter Brandy (Arielle Carver-O’Neill).

More from Ash vs. Evil Dead

After the first episode had Ash making some cracks about having a child (and re-using his same lucky condom over and over to keep this from happening), he has buckled down and wants to protect his “offspring.” With Brandy’s mom decapitated by a Deaditte in the first episode, Ash is all she has left — which likely doesn’t make her very happy.

The video clip does show that corruptive forces might be at work, as Ruby shows up and tells Brandy that she can always come to her — something Ash likely will want to nip in the bud (pun intended) as soon as possible.

It also looks like we will get to see more of newcomer Dalton (Linsay Farris) — a member of the Knights of Sumeria — noticing that Pablo (Ray Santiago) has been “marked by evil.”

Finally, some gruesome effects are coming up in “Booth Three,” including what looks like a freaky looking baby Deaditte and a hand that is trying to tear Ash’s manhood off.

Check out the plot synopsis for Ash vs. Evil Dead season 3 episode “Booth Three”:

"Ruby gives birth to a new form of evil and disguises herself to form a bond with Brandy. Kelly returns with a friend who is leading the search for The Prophesized One to defeat The Dark Ones once and for all, while Ash realizes evil is out to get his daughter."
