Game of Thrones Spoilers: Additions to the undead army?
Here’s a potentially major Game of Thrones spoiler for you. So, if you don’t want to know, stop reading.
The Night King may have a few more recruits in his army of the undead. The Watchers on the Wall have posted some pictures from the Game of Thrones set that show, pretty clearly, people on horseback behind a large green screen.
Why does this matter?

The actors being filmed are portraying wights and wights don’t ride horseback. The only ones we’ve seen ride horses are the master White Walkers.
When filming the wights, they’re typically outfitted in partial green suits so that production can add visual effects later, like decaying body parts. White Walkers, the mystical creatures that actually turn the dead into wights, would be in full green suits.
Last season, the undead army broke through the Wall thanks to some help [R.I.P Viserion], so maybe these new wights are a bunch of former Westerosians who already rode horseback. But the Watchers of the Wall believe they look eerily similar to Dothraki.
From the pictures, they look like they have the same Dothraki style. The men look bulky and seem to have ponytails.
So, we’re talking about Dothraki wights, here. How could this happen?
Dany and her army will be staying at Winterfell at the start of Season 8, so they will already be in the north. It’s possible they could have sent the Dothraki ahead to fight the White Walkers first – because, let’s be honest, they’re badass.
Maybe the Dothraki meets their match in the undead army and they become the undead themselves.
Whatever happens, it doesn’t look good for our heroes if their best fighters are, in fact, playing for the other team. And we won’t know for sure for a whole year.
