New Castle Rock trailer from Hulu!
By Ruby LeRouge
Hulu just released the newest Castle Rock trailer!
It’s a compelling look into the little town that is ground zero for the mind of horror writer Stephen King!
Shawshank prison, from the film Shawshank Redemption and King’s novella, seems to be featured heavily, and will likely be the focus of season 1.

We will no doubt see a lot of Easter eggs from Stephen King’s novels, but whether the story will be all new content or not is still unknown. We do know that we will see the character Alan Pangborn brought to life by actor Scott Glenn (Sucker Punch).
Pangborn was featured in both Needful Things and The Dark Half, facing off against supernatural foes, so we know he will have his hands full.
Award-winning actress Sissy Spacek, who starred in the film adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie, will also be in season one, along with the star of the recently remade It, Bill Skarsgård; appearing as a prisoner of Shawshank. All will be under the guidance of Executive Producer J.J. Abrams.
This new view begs the question, who else will we see in Castle Rock? Will Leland Gaunt show his infernal face to pit neighbor against neighbor? There is a lot to draw from, from four young boys looking for a body to a horror writer’s Dark Half coming to life, we know we are in for a fright.
Strawberry Spring, was always a favorite short story of mine, and I would love to see it played out well. Who would you like to see on your screen from the mind of Stephen King?
