Ryan Murphy loves keeping cast members around season after season and in that sentiment, it was announced today that Billie Lourd will return for season 8 of American Horror Story! Joan Collins will join the cast this season and play grandmother to Peters’ character.

Season 8 of American Horror Story is rumored to be called Radioactive and will be set about 18 months in the future. Creator Ryan Murphy hopes to go back to previous seasons like Coven and Asylum for the 8th season. Production is set to begin around June 16th.

Lourd will also be starring in Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut, Booksmart and will star opposite Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein. The premise involves high school graduates trying to jam-pack four years of fun into one crazy night.

Some may not realize that Ryan Murphy is responsible for Lourd’s television debut from her days as Chanel #3 on Fox’s Scream Queens. She then was brought on for the role of Winter for the seventh season of American Horror Story and was last seen acting alongside her mother, the late Carrie Fisher, in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
