Each day, you will get a recap of one episode from 13 Reasons Why’s second season.

Here’s our recap of the tenth episode of the second season of 13 Reasons Why.

1. Hannah was a bully.
Sarah, mentioned in yesterday’s post, turned out to be a student from Hannah’s old school. She testified that Hannah, along with two other girls, bullied her. Though she mentioned it started with another girl, Hannah joined in and made the girl’s like a living hell, to the point they got suspended, and Sarah dropped out of school. This is damning when the Bakers are trying to paint Hannah as a sweet and sensitive girl driven to suicide because of bullying.

I assume this is why Jackie leaves the Baker house. With this new information, she probably thinks they have no shot at winning, so she leaves while Olivia isn’t home. Though she leaves a note, we don’t get to see what’s in it. Good riddance!

2. Tony dated Ryan.
It turns out Hannah and Tony were pretty close. She gave him pep talks in asking out his school crush, who turned out to be Ryan! On their date, a man makes fun of them, yelling nasty, bigoted things at them. Tony responds by beating the piss out of him. The man was none other than the man Tony sees in the gym.

3. Tony has a secret, and Hannah kept it for him.
We know Tony has an anger problem. Tony’s big secret is that Hannah protected him when he ran away from the police after the beating. In turn, Hannah trusted him with her secrets. She trusted him with the tapes because they kept each other’s secrets.

4. Clay almost kisses ghost Hannah.
When Clay finds ghost Hannah in his room, they apologize to each other. He admits that he’s angry all the time ever since she died in the first season of 13 Reasons Why. And that the happiest he’s ever been was when he kissed her. He then tries to kiss ghost Hannah, but she stops him, reminding him she’s dead. I think Clay has been losing it for a while, but this takes the cake. He’s completely lost his mind.

5. Sheri gets into the clubhouse.
Before they try to break in, Sheri offers to get into the clubhouse first to scope things out. Bryce ends up joining them. You can tell she is uncomfortable. Bryce then forces her to smoke weed, refusing to do so himself or letting the other two guys to do it either. Then, Bryce opens a black box and takes out a Polaroid camera and takes a picture of her with the two guys. He throws the picture and camera back in the black box. She tells Clay and Justin that she can’t go back there, and they understand why.

6. Zach walks off the field.
In case you don’t know how baseball works, the catcher calls the pitch and the pitcher either waves it off or agrees and throws the pitch the pitcher throws. Zach called a change-up, yet Bryce continued to defy him by throwing fastballs. He also didn’t wave off the pitch. Because Bryce does whatever he wants, when he wants it, Zach walked off the field in the middle of the game towards the clubhouse.

7. We know who gave Clay the Polaroids.
The two recent roomies decide to go into the clubhouse during the baseball game. As they’re looking for evidence to take down Bryce, Zach walks in and busts them. Zach warns them they Bryce and his goons will keep coming for them, that it won’t stop. But Zach also admits that he’s the one who kept leaving the Polaroids for Clay. He also gives them the box of Polaroids. I told you Zach was a good guy!

8. The gang finds a crack in the case.
One of the pictures given to Clay was of Bryce having sex with a girl in the clubhouse. As Clay, Sheri, and Justin look through the pictures, they find another version of the same picture; only it’s of Bryce having sex with a passed-out Chloe. What an extraordinary POS this guy is! He rapes his own girlfriend. They think if they can get Chloe to report it, they can take down Bryce.

Clay also finds a Polaroid of Hannah sitting on the couch by herself with a Letterman jacket around her. He looks up at ghost Hannah, who is smiling back at him.

9. Things come crashing down for Tyler.
Tyler meets Cyrus and his friends at a punk concert. Now, if you’ve ever been to one of these punk/metal concerts, it’s not for the faint of heart. I remember getting kicked in the head at a Mudvayne concert once. The music isn’t good enough to be worth it. Anyway, Tyler gets hit in the face, which causes a bloody mouth. When he makes his way back away from the crowd, he runs into MacKenzie. She tries to ensure him it’s OK what happened and that it could happen to a lot of guys, but he decides yelling at her and telling her he doesn’t like her is a better option. Cyrus overhears and kicks him out.

When he gets home, his parents ground him for blackmailing Marcus and ban him from hanging out with Cyrus. That won’t be a problem though.

10. Alex finds a present in his locker.
Just when Alex is starting to do better, someone leaves a single bullet in his locker. Can’t this kid catch a break on 13 Reasons Why?

11. Jess and Nina fight.
Nina is starting to grow distance from her boyfriend, and Jess wonders why. She tells Jess it’s because her boyfriend started asking too many questions when things got intimate. Jess suggested that she may not be fully healed and Nina gets mad at her.

12. The Bakers’ pharmacy gets vandalized.
I’m pretty certain Bryce’s goons are behind it. But in a turn of events, wouldn’t it be nuts if it was the principal? Or maybe Valerie?

13. Tony makes things right.
Tony pays a visit to Sarah at her hotel and lets her know that Hannah always felt bad for the way she treated Sarah. The truth is, Hannah succumbed to peer pressure when it came to bullying Sarah. She lived with regret for the rest of her life.
