Hulu orders new drama pilot ‘Reprisal’

From the creator of The Handmaid’s Tale, Warren Littlefield, comes a new drama series, Reprisal, which has been given a pilot order by Hulu!

According to Deadline, Reprisal is about a tale of revenge that follows a femme fatale who plots a course to avenge after being left for dead. The series is written by StartUP’s Josh Corbin and will be directed by Jonathan Van Tullekan, who was recently nominated for a BAFTA.

This series has been a long time coming and joins another pilot that was recently ordered by Hulu and goes by the name of Kansas City. Looks like Hulu is shaping up to have a series of amazing pilots in store for us, right?

Along with StartUP, Corbin is also credited for writing Quantum Break. And alongside his BAFTA nomination for thriller film Off Season starring Jon Hamm, Van Tullekan has also directed FX’s Trust and two British comedy series’, Gap Year and The Aliens.

Littlefield, most famously known for The Handmaid’s Tale, is also an executive producer on FX’s Fargo which will begin production for season four in 2019.

After snagging multiple Emmys for The Handmaid’s Tale, it will not come as a surprise if Littlefield manages to gain similar success for Reprisal. And with such a phenomenal writing and directing crew alongside him, we are sure in for a treat!
