Walking Dead spoilers: Season 9 to possibly include a surprise wedding
By Shawn Lealos
On Sunday night, AMC released a brand-new clip from The Walking Dead season 9, and that clip had Carol and Daryl sitting on a porch talking.
In the clip (which is not online yet but was described on Comicbook.com), Darul asks why Carol isn’t in bed and she claims “we don’t sleep” — probably referring to her and Daryl.
She then throws in a quip about Ezekiel sleeping like a baby, calling it annoying.

Daryl then responds by saying that Ezekiel is “alright” but “corny.”
That is when Carol drops the bomb. She said that she is glad to have “pookie’s approval” and said that after all that she went through with Ed, “corny is nice.”
Daryl then said that Carol deserves to be happy.
Yes, it is true Walking Dead fans — Carol and Ezekiel will be an item after the first time-jump of the season.
The Walking Dead season 9 showrunner Angela Kang also confirmed during the preview special that Carol and Ezekiel will be romantically involved, so this is something big that fans can look forward to.
But, that isn’t all.
According to the Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook group, there will be a wedding in The Walking Dead season 9 and it is Carol and Ezekiel that are trying the knot.
According to The Walking Dead spoilers, the wedding will be revealed around the sixth or seventh episode of the ninth season. However, it also reveals that there is no clue as to when — or even if — the wedding ceremony will be seen.
Also according to The Walking Dead spoilers, Skybound responded to a mailbag question about whether or not Glenn and Maggie are the last people that will get married on the show, and they answered: “definitely not.”
