New The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 2 teaser released
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is going to the Catskills in Season 2!
Amazon dropped a new teaser for Season 2 of the highly acclaimed series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel today.
Though the series doesn’t have a premiere date just yet, we do know that the “mad divorcee from the Upper West Side” will be visiting the Catskills this season.
Midge Maisel, played by Golden Globe winner Rachel Brosnahan, will be dodging questions about her love life in between comedic sets at the Gaslight.

- Goosebumps season 1, episode 6 recap: “Night of the Living Dummy”
- Beacon 23 season 1, episode 3 recap: “Why Can’t We Go on as Three?”
- Upload season 3, episode 2 recap: “Strawberry”
As a special note, I LOVE the Judy Garland song playing in the background of the teaser. The song, “Come on Get Happy,” is from a film she did with Gene Kelly called Summer Stock in 1950. It’s great if you’re into old Hollywood!
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which debuted last November, follows a 1950s housewife whose husband suddenly leaves her for another woman. After what can only be described as a hilarious public breakdown, Susie Myerson, played by Alex Borstein discovers her and encourages her to develop her comedic act.
The Amazon Prime comedy won last year’s Golden Globe for Best Comedy and Best Actress in a Comedy. And Season 1 is nominated for 14 Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress for Brosnahan, Outstanding Supporting Actress for Borstein, and Outstanding Supporting Actor for Tony Shalhoub (fresh off his new Tony Award win).
The series, which was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino (of Gilmore Girls fame), has been creatively promoting itself through “For Your Consideration” campaigns around Los Angeles.
These billboards which looked like memos from Susie Myerson really stood out and seemed to work judging from the amount of Emmy nominations the show received.
I’m excited to see what Season 2 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has in store. So, let’s get a premiere date already, Amazon!
