A familiar face will appear in a few episodes of the Amazon Prime series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel next season.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel just got a little more marvelous.

Sterling K. Brown will join the hit Amazon Prime series as a recurring cast member for season 3. The popular actor announced his casting via an Instagram post earlier today.

According to Deadline, Brown will appear in a three-episode arc. But details of who he’s playing or what his storyline entails is unknown at this time.

This casting should come as no surprise if you pay attention to the awards show circuit. During a SAG Awards red carpet interview with Brown, the show’s star, Rachel Brosnahan crashed it and gushed over the actor. She said how much she wanted to work with him.

Brown is best known for playing Randall Pearson on the hit NBC drama This is Us. He’s become a fan favorite and also added quite a bit of hardware to his trophy case — an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and 3 SAG awards to be exact — from this beloved role.

So, this news is especially a treat for those Maisel fans who are also This is Us fans, like me.

Before This is Us, Brown played Christopher Darden in An American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson, for which he won an Emmy. Coming up this year, he will appear in films Waves, The Rhythm Section, and Rise. He will also lend his voice to Angry Birds Movie 2 and Frozen II.

I’m looking forward to seeing him in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel next season!
