El Camino will also be directed and written by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan.
The teaser shows Skinny Pete (Charles Baker) in an interrogation room where he is being asked about Jesse’s whereabouts and Pete talks about the hell Jesse has been through and says that he is not gonna help them put him back in the cage. Even if he knew where he was, he would not tell them.
Information on which other original cast members are returning is still yet unknown.
Breaking Bad sits atop the IMDb as the highest-rated scripted TV series ever with a humongous amount of votes, the series has been time and time again critics’ choice for best TV Show of all time. The series also has one of the greatest most perfect series finales ever, and with all that perfection and acclaim, it certainly seems like a brave and gutsy choice to come back for a movie.
Vince Gilligan did work his magic again in the prequel series Better Call Saul, so he is known to repeat this sorcery. With the help of Aaron Paul who has already promised that the movie will have crazy guest stars, it seems like the choice for the better. And, we certainly won’t have to wait long to truly find out.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will be streaming on Netflix starting October 11.
