Is anyone else enjoying Why Women Kill as much as I am?

Why Women Kill is such a fun show to watch. Sure the premise is strange, and it supposedly ends in multiple murders, but the path to that inevitable moment is pretty darn entertaining. The only issue I’ve had with the series so far is the whole Jade, Taylor, and Eli storyline. I could care less for that, but otherwise, I’m so on board with everything this show is about.

Let’s start this recap with Beth Ann, the incredible Beth Ann who has broken out of her 1950s shell in a big and bad way. She started off befriending her husband’s mistress, April, to figure out what is actually going on, but somehow along the way, things changed.

Instead of hating April, she’s become best friends with her–they go rollerskating, get high, and do all the girly things Beth Ann has always wanted to do. And we don’t blame her. It’s the type of friendship we all need in our lives. But I don’t think it’s going to bode well for either of them once the truth comes out.

One good thing does come out of this whole relationship, and that is bringing Rob and Beth Ann closer together. Because she got high with April, she was loopy at Rob’s boss’ dinner party which made for some good times and led to her and Rob having a night of their own. Maybe something good can come from all of this after all.

Now, let’s talk about Simone. She’s been having a hot and heavy affair with her best friend’s son, Tommy. But that becomes complicated when her daughter Amy shows up claiming her wedding is off.

Amy sets her eyes on Tommy in hopes of having revenge sex which makes Simone realize that maybe she is into Tommy more than she thought.  Well, then. This should be interesting.

And now onto the most boring part of Why Women Kill–Jade, Eli, and Taylor. I seriously wish they’d consider removing that storyline altogether. It’s so unnecessary. Anyway, this week’s episode has them dealing with Jade’s ex-boyfriend, Duke. He’s threatening to put her dog to sleep so the thrupple decide to go over there to handle the situation. Taylor wants to handle it in a logical manner but Jade and Eli do the complete opposite.

The start and end of this episode of Why Women Kill begins with three bodies in the morgue. Three bodies we can assume belong to the three husbands or three men in the show. How will we get there? What horrible events will lead us there? I’m waiting to find out.
