Fargo season 4 casts Uzo Aduba, Corey Hendrix, & Matthew Elam

Fargo season 4 is chugging along as it adds three new cast members.
Fargo has become the sort of series where we never know what we’re going to get. We never know if there will be another season, or who will be in it, or what the story will be about. But every time we learn anything about it, our hearts skip a beat. Yes, it’s that serious.
Deadline reported that the fourth season is expanding their cast by three with Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black), Corey Hendrix (The Chi), and Matthew Elam (Chicago PD). Aduba has snagged a lead role while Hendrix and Elam are set to be series regulars. Pretty cool, right?
Knowing the nature of Fargo, we can expect their characters to be eccentric or at the very least, intriguing. It’s just how this show likes to roll. We all remember season 3, don’t we? Here’s a breakdown of who they will be playing–apart from names, we don’t know much else.
- Uzo Aduba: Lead role, no details on character as of yet
- Corey Hendrix: Will play Omie Sparkman
- Matthew Elam: Will play Lemuel
That’s about all we know about their characters, which is vague, I know. But hey, it’s something!
Fargo season 4’s highlight will, of course, be Chris Rock with Noah Hawley–the creator, writer, director, and executive producer. This time around the series takes place in 1950s Kansas City and focus on two communities dealing with migration. One group are Italians coming to the US from Italy while the other is African Americans trying to escape the south.
There will be fear, drama, and the usual Fargo like business in season 4 as the leaders of both groups trade their eldest son to broker a peace deal. I’m not sure how long the peace will remain, but something tells me it won’t be for very long.
Production on season 4 will begin this fall in Chicago with a premiere date sometime in 2020.
