Is there hope for Rome after all in A Million Little Things? Maybe, just maybe.

A Million Little Things picks up with Rome and P.J. after the big “I think I’m Jon’s son” reveal. It doesn’t take long for Rome to figure out that Barbara Morgan/Nelson is P.J.’s mother. But he’s not entirely convinced that Jon is his father as Barbara was also dating someone else back then. But then what’s up with that video Jon left behind? And the fact that he left behind Barbara all that money?

Later in the episode, Rome meets up with a friend of his that is a big-time producer and may be able to land Rome a solid deal with his script. But he just wants him to remove the whole suicide angle, unfortunately. Little does he know that’s the most important part of Rome’s script based on his own life. But hey, this could still be pretty big for Rome! Not to mention, he got approached by another friend to direct a Lexus commercial, which Rome turns down.

Regina and Andrew are at odds during this episode of A Million Little Things over the restaurant and its image. Andrew wants things to be run a different way, based on his own experience but Regina is resisting. She doesn’t want a social media revamp, and she doesn’t want people to think that he’s responsible for her restaurant. But we have to admit, the man does know what he’s doing.

By the end of the episode, Regina realizes why she is so against Andrew and his suggestions. She wants to be able to do everything on her own but is also conflicted over the fact she didn’t use her uncle’s money (the one who molested her). Rome decides to step in and take the Lexus commercial, after all, to help her out, while Regina decides to listen to what Andrew has to say.

In the Maggie/Patricia storyline, there isn’t much progress at all. In fact, all we really do learn is that Patricia is interested in the guy from the restaurant and she came to Boston to see him and Maggie. Ouch.

Delilah and Andrew go on a date during this episode of A Million Little Things, something she was certainly not ready for. Meanwhile, Gary helps Danny audition for a part in the Grease school musical. It’s a bit of a rough road for Danny, however, because his old crush/boyfriend(?) is auditioning for the same part as him–Kenicke.

But guess what?! Not only does Gary help him through the entire thing, but Danny ends up landing the role of Danny Zuko, nonetheless. What a rockstar!

Katherine and Eddie get some alone time while Theo decides to go to his first sleepover. He doesn’t make it through the whole night but it does provide some tender moments between the estranged couple. Mixed signals and all, Katherine admits they have a long road ahead of them and she may, at times, be a bit confusing. That’s fair, isn’t it? She’s been through a lot!
