13 Reasons Why: JanLuis Castellanos joins final season

Marvel’s Runaways’ JanLuis Castellanos has joined the final season of 13 Reasons Why.
13 Reasons Why will soon conclude its very controversial and emotional story with the fourth and final season. And as they prepare for the ending, they’re going to be adding some new characters to the mix. The latest addition, according to Deadline, is Marvel’s Runaways’ JanLuis Castellanos.
Castellanos is all set to play a character named Diego Torres who is “a charismatic, aggressive, and fiercely loyal leader of a divided football team struggling to understand the loss of one of their own.” And just in case you’re wondering who 13 Reasons Why lost, it’s…*SPOILER ALERT FOR SEASON 3 (sort of)*

Season 3 was all about getting to bottom of the “whodunnit” mystery surrounding Bryce’s death. And it looks like season 4 will be picking up the pieces in the aftermath of it all.
Just in case you haven’t seen the third season, I won’t give away what happens, but it’s quite the ride.
Castellanos’ character, Diego, will find himself in the middle of the chaos and naturally falling for one of the women of Liberty High. Does anyone want to take a stab at who it will be? My guess is Jessica.
We don’t know a whole lot about this Diego character but bear in mind he will have a violent temper. Uh, that never bodes well in the world of 13 Reasons Why.
Do we really need another hot-headed temperamental character on the series?

It’s hard to believe that we are approaching the fourth and final season of 13 Reasons Why, isn’t it? I’m really curious as to how they’re planning on wrapping this story up, and where it will leave off when all is said and done. Will Liberty High forever have to deal with the trauma of the past? Or will things finally come to a quiet conclusion?
Here’s to hoping that every character gets the peace they deserve after a rough few years.
