A Million Little Things season 2, episode 13 recap: Daisy
By Ariba Bhuvad
A Million Little Things finally gives us some closure on the Gary and Maggie front!
A Million Little Things broke our hearts into a million little pieces when Gary and Maggie broke up. While they’re still not together, they are friends again, even though Gary is very much in love with her still. Maybe, just maybe, these two will find their way back to one another romantically.
But before we talk about Gary and Maggie, let’s talk about Delilah. She’s been going through quite a rough time with Sophie after she told her and Danny the truth. Luckily, this week, A Million Little Things, makes things slightly better between Delilah and Sophie.
We meet Delilah’s father, Lenny, in this episode, and as someone who is suffering from dementia, things are quite foggy for him. So, when he runs away from his home, Delilah and Sophie come together to find him. It’s Sophie that ultimately tracks him down.

A sweet moment between Sophie and Lenny takes place that very quickly became one of my favorites of the series. Due to his dementia, Lenny forgets who he is with and thinks Sophie is Delilah. He tells “Delilah” that she needs to take care of herself because Jon isn’t a great husband.
It’s in that moment that Sophie realizes Jon was a great father to her, but he wasn’t the best husband to Delilah. There’s a lot more going than Sophie cared to understand, but now she’s starting to get it. It was the epiphany she needed to get her back home–and I’m so happy!
Rome and Regina are still looking for a baby to adopt on A Million Little Things, and it seems like they’ve finally found someone!
At first, things don’t seem like they may work out because the young woman, Eve, they are thinking of adopting from won’t tell them much about the baby’s father. But once she comes clean about the baby’s father being a pretty horrible guy, things get back on track.
I’m not sure things are over with the whole baby father thing, but time will tell when he randomly pops up and causes issues. The fact that he was calling Eve at the end of the episode doesn’t bode well for anyone.

I appreciate that A Million Little Things is taking some time out to focus on Theo and his mental health. A lot has been going in his life, and we can’t ignore the fact that he has been affected by it all. Catherine and Eddie decide to take him to therapy, but naturally, it’s not something he wants to do.
But when Catherine says she needs to talk to the doctor and wants him to support her, Theo agrees to go. And it’s a good thing because it seems like he’s more open to the idea of going. I’d just like to say Eddie and Catherine have quickly become my favorite couple on the show. They work so well together, and Catherine is literally the mother of the year. She’s always thinking of ways to help Theo and make sure he is getting the help he needs always.
It’s so stinking cute!
Last but not least, A Million Little Things brings some closure on the Maggie and Gary front. They’ve finally become friends after attending a friend’s remission party. It wasn’t easy, but they both got through it. Although Gary is very much in love with Maggie still, it seems like he’ll have to be okay being in the friend zone.
I’m still holding out hope they’ll come back together. They have to!
