5 things we want to see in The Walking Dead: World Beyond Season 2
The Walking Dead: World Beyond Season Finale left audiences with a lot of questions including these five things that should be explored next season.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond Season Finale answered several questions and created several more. Now that it has been revealed that Huck is working with Elizabeth and that they needed Hope what will Season 2 bring? There are five things, in particular, Season Two should explore including Hope’s purpose and the CRM. Listed in no specific order, let’s begin!
Rick Grimes
Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead has been missing since Season 9’s episode “What Comes After”. While most of his friends and family believe he died, we as the audience witnessed Anne (AKA: Jadis) rescue him via helicopter which has the CRM logo. Since then fans have hoped he would appear in person or through a reference on World Beyond. However, he hasn’t.

While Rick Grimes films are in the works it would be nice if there is some mention of the hero next season. Maybe his name can be mentioned in casual discussion, maybe his voice could be heard via walkie talkie by accident, or maybe could be seen passing in the background for a brief moment.
Silas’s Whereabouts
Silas is captured in order for Percy and Elton to get away during the World Beyond finale. The problem is he is captured by the CRM. Where are they taking him? What will become of him?
It would be a rough season if Silas isn’t shown at some point. Since we know little to nothing about the CRM this would be the perfect opportunity to get a better idea about who they are and what they actually do. It’s time to lift the veil on their operations and find some closure for Silas.
The CRM
Where is the CRM located? Is it the New York location where Dr. Bennett is working? Are there several bases? Who exactly is the CRM? There are so many questions about this military group and we know very little about them. With Silas being captured by them and Hope now on the way to their base, Season 2 can really dive into who this military group is, how they operate, and why.
Elizabeth Kublek
Speaking of the CRM, Elizabeth Kublek is perhaps just as elusive as the CRM she manages. Or does she? Elizabeth was not the main focus of Season 1 however now that she has Hope, it’s time to get to know more about her. While she is the designated villain of the show thus far there is obviously more to her than she reveals. I remain unconvinced that she is the leader of the entire operation and instead works for a bigger perhaps worse force that we haven’t seen yet.
Hope’s Purpose
The Season 1 finale remained equally elusive about Hope’s exact purpose for the CRM. Season 2 will need to explore what they expect of Hope. It has to be important for the CRM to literally kill an entire population of people just to have her. How many other brilliant minds does the CRM have in their possession? What exactly are they doing with the experiments of walkers? There is a lot of build-up for Hope and we should see the payoff next season.
