HBO is set to being production on the new season of True Detective soon, which means that things are starting to come together behind the scenes. It’s hard to keep track of things though, as there has been so much going on in a short amount of time that you can’t be blamed for missing out on certain information.
While the cast of the series has been pretty much set, the directors are a little more up in the air. Just like with the cast, about half of the work is done in finding a director for True Detective’s second season.
Fast and Furious director Justin Lin has been confirmed to be helming the first two episodes of the show, but beyond that it’s anyone’s guess. There have been names mentioned, but nothing definitive has been settled on as to who will take over directing after Lin finishes up his stint with the show.
