Taylor Kitsch Will Watch True Detective Even If He’s Not Cast
By Josh Hill
Taylor Kitsch is rumored to be involved in the second season of True Detective but he will watch the show even if he’s not in it.
True Detective is nearing the start of production on its second season and the cast is starting to come together. With Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn cast in the show, the series is going to look to cast the remaining roles in the coming weeks. One actor who has been mentioned in casting rumors has been Taylor Kitsch but putting him in the show may be easier said than done.

But if Kitsch isn’t in the new season of the HBO show, it won’t be because he’s not into True Detective.
According to an interview with Access Hollywood, Kitsch stated that even if he’s not cast in the second season of True Detective, he’s going to watch the show regardless.
"“I’m a mad fan for it. Nic Pizzolatto, the whole — everything, so I think it’s — I’m excited for Season 2 — if I’m in it or not,” he said."
We’ve heard of actors being fans of True Detective, but none have been this closely discussed in regards to the cast. Kitsch is an interesting name as he is an A-list talent who has yet to have a career defining pop. He came close with a role in The Normal Heart but a role in True Detective would do wonders to his already rising career.
