Poll: True Detective Super Bowl Showdown!
This weekend is the Super Bowl, and although it’s very unlikely that we’ll be seeing a True Detective ad of any kind during the big game, that won’t stop us from getting involved in the festivities in our own way.
True Detective doesn’t really have all that much to do with football, though season two will star Taylor Kitsch who was on Friday Night Lights. So there’s your football link! We didn’t have to reach for that at all!

To celebrate the Super Bowl this weekend we’ll be running a poll for the next two days only to see who you think could win. Granted, there aren’t really any “teams” on True Detective in the typical sense so we’re going to have to use our imaginations a little bit.
Who do you think would win this imaginary Super Bowl setup: Rust, Marty, and the rest of detectives or The Spaghetti Monster — Errol Childress — and his insane brood. Childress is a big guy, so think wisely. This poll will only be up through Sunday so make sure to vote!
After that we’ll announce the results. Don’t worry, a vote for The Spaghetti Monsters — as we’ve just dubbed them — does not mean that you condone their behavior, so go ahead and vote guilt-free.
