This week didn’t bring us any breakthrough True Detective news, but every week down brings us one week closer, right? Yeah. We were, however, treated to another photo leak from the set of True Detective’s second season.

It’s pretty remarkable how many of these we’ve had since filming began, so at least there’s one way of us to “participate” in True Detective’s production.

Let’s begin.

Matthew McConaughey joined Jimmy Kimmel in Austin to help out a small business. Kimmel was in town to celebrate Austin’s South by Southwest Festival.
It was announced that True Detective director Cary Fukunaga will be attending New York’s Tribeca Film Festival as part of Tribeca Talks, a series of public talks with influential directors.
We took a look at the current limbo we’re in with regards to True Detective’s premiere date. Can’t be too much longer, right?
The most exciting bit of news this week was the suspension of a Twitter account masquerading as the official True Detective account. We were also treated to those aforementioned leaked photos of Vince Vaughn.
Finally, we wondered if True Detective would offer Kelly Reilly a chance for serious success in the states.
