The second season of True Detective is still in production, but that doesn’t mean that the cast isn’t already looking forward. Kelly Reilly, who will be co-starring in True Detective, will reportedly be appearing in a play in New York according to Variety. We’re eager to see Kelly Reilly’s star rise, and this is a great start.

Even though Reilly isn’t one of the four True Detective leads, she is still a star in her own right. Reilly has yet to make much of a splash in the U.S, but True Detective combined with some stage-time could go a long way.

Kelly Reilly will be appearing in a Roundabout Theater revival of Old Times, which will also star Clive Owen. Much has been said about Vince Vaughn and what we can/should expect from him in True Detective, but that doesn’t mean that the other cast members don’t deserve attention.

Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell have so far been the only two actors that have talked about True Detective in interviews. It will be nice to eventually get the other actors’, Reilly included, thoughts and opinions on the season. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

True Detective has the power to give careers a boost, so hopefully Kelly Reilly will be able to take advantage of that. True Detective fans that also happen enjoy the theater will be able to see Old Town starting September 17th.
