While we didn’t get any more True Detective season two details this week, that doesn’t mean that it was quiet. We got a couple of great fan-made clips and Nic Pizzolatto actually came out of the woodwork to answer a True Detective question. That almost never happens!
We’re less than two months away from the premiere of True Detective’s second season, so it won’t be quiet for much longer.
Let’s begin.
- True Detective season one director Cary Fukunaga talked bout the grueling shooting schedule. Maybe that played a role into his decision to not return for season two.
- We saw two True Detective fan creations this week: a brilliant Natalie Imbruglia mashup and a trailer for the first season that’s better than the official one.
- We wondered if we’ve reached the end of the True Detective set photo leaks. Whether or not that’s the case, you can track the production of True Detective season two in this gallery.
- Does the LA setting in True Detective mean the end of the small-town feel? Maybe, maybe not.
- Cary Fukuaga has lined up yet another direction gig, again proving that the’s become something of a hot commodity.
- Finally, Nic Pizzolatto spoke out about possible references in True Detective’s second season.
And that’s all your True Detective news for the week. As always, if you have True Detective related activities to share or just want to chat, you can hit us up on Facebook or Twitter. Or both! Surprise us.
