People Are Still Looking Forward to True Detective Season Three
The hard time brought on by True Detective season two are now over. Mostly.
A few months ago it felt like True Detective wouldn’t’ be able to escape from the damage that season two did to the series. With huge outlets like Entertainment Weekly chasing down True Detective like nobody’s business, it appeared that the party was over. The huge success of the first season didn’t matter in the face of season two.

Most of the reasons come with the territory of being an anthology show: new cast, new setting, new story. Didn’t like the characters in season two? Well, you’ll never see them again. One notable reason is the involvement of Nic Pizzolatto, who for all of his faults is still the man who brought True Detectie season one to life.
It will be interesting to see if the general viewing public will be just as forgiving to Pizzolatto. The man hasn’t exactly had an easy time with the press, and he has kept stone silent as of late. That may actually be for the better.

True Detective season three is a long way off, but it’s never really too early to start getting pumped. Hopefully this will only continue the newfound trend of acceptance and excitement.
