Ray plots revenge over Nikki’s beating, while Gloria comes closer to solving the mystery behind the deaths of Ennis Stussy and Maurice LeFay.

It’s been a brutal couple of episodes for the Stussy brothers and their closest associates as their feud has escalated to an explosive level. The last episode, “The House of Special Purpose,” saw Emmit lose his family thanks to a fake sex tape produced by his brother Ray and his girlfriend, who was beaten by Varga’s henchmen at the end of the episode.

Meanwhile, Gloria continued her investigation into the events that led to her stepfather’s murder with the help of Winnie Lopez to the dismay of her new boss, who insisted that she let things be. However, according to the synopsis for episode 6, entitled “The Lord of No Mercy,” the former Eden Valley police chief will not be heeding his advice:

"Gloria and Winnie get closer to the truth; Emmit tries to make things right; Nikki and Ray prepare for payback; Varga cleans up a mess."

In fact, the promo for this week’s episode shows that Gloria’s investigation will lead to a meeting with Emmit, who’s currently on a mission to win back his wife with the help of Sy. For his part, the “Parking Lot King of Minnesota’s” right hand man will continue to contend with Varga, who wants to push Sy out by convincing Emmit that he’s in cahoots with his brother.

Meanwhile, an armed Ray is out for revenge for what happened to his fiancée, but it seems that Varga is already on the hunt for him.

“No one puts a finger on my woman and gets away with it,” Ray says in the preview.
