Fargo season 3, episode 7 live stream: Watch ‘The Law of Inevitability’ online

Nikki takes the fall for Ray’s death in “Fargo” season 3, episode 7, entitled ‘The Law of Inevitability.’
In the most dramatic moment of the third season of Fargo to date, Ray Stussy met his demise at the hands of his brother in last week’s episode while the feuding siblings literally fought over a valuable framed stamp.
The former parole officer bled out on his carpet in front of Emmit after the freak accident that caused a shard of glass to penetrate his neck, as his fiancée, Nikki Swango, was left in peril back at the motel where they escaped to while fleeing the police.
The incident spared Nikki her life, but same can’t be said for her freedom. After Ray’s death, Emmit’s vile associate and newest right-hand man, V.M. Varga, aided the “Parking Lot King of Minnesota” in covering things up by concocting a plan that would pin everything on Nikki.

The preview for the new episode, “The Law of Inevitability,” shows Nikki behind bars, or as the synopsis describes it, “a familiar place” for the ex-con, demonstrating that the plan works. It also reads:
"“Gloria tries to work around the system; Nikki finds herself in a familiar place; Varga comes up with an alternative plan; Emmit goes to dinner.”"
Additionally, the promo finds Gloria continuing to contend with her new boss, who wants to impede her investigation. Meanwhile, Winnie Lopez gets to break the news of Ray’s death to Emmit, who fakes disbelief while eating dinner with Ruby Goldfarb (played by Mary McDonnell), who was briefly introduced in episode 5 as she explained her interest in buying Stussy Lots Ltd. to Sy.
We also briefly see a confrontation between Emmit and Sy. Varga has managed to convince Emmit that his trusted business partner may have been in cahoots with his brother. The entire situation leaves an emotionally distressed Sy sobbing uncontrollably in front of his wife.
