John Oliver’s “Last Week Tonight” is taking a two-week break, before returning after Labor Day.

If you tuned into HBO this past weekend to watch the highly anticipated season finale of Game of Thrones or their other Sunday offerings, Ballers and Insecure, you may have noticed that there was one show missing from the lineup: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. In its place, the network re-aired the Vice News special covering the recent Charlottesville rally.

Oliver not only had last Sunday off but will also be missing in action this coming week, presumably thanks to the Labor Day holiday. That means the popular late-night show won’t be back until Sunday, Sept. 10th in its regular time slot.

It’ll be joined on the night by David Simon’s new 70’s-set drama The Deuce, whose pilot was released early via HBO’s digital platforms. Insecure will also air its season 2 finale that day. The following week will see the return of Vice Principals for its second and final season, though Last Week Tonight will be off again that night for some reason. But it will air new episodes for at least the first three weeks of October.

While Last Week Tonight has been on hiatus, the main news story Oliver has missed has been coverage of Hurricane Harvey, particularly the unprecedented flooding damage in Houston. The natural disaster prompted a visit to Texas by President Trump, who marveled at the crowd size and seemed to make the event about himself.

The most recent episode of Last Week Tonight tackled the departure of Steve Bannon, and Trump’s response to Charlottesville. Additionally, the main segment revolved around the dangers of nuclear waste.
