A new Jack Ryan Super Bowl trailer just hit online of the upcoming Amazon Prime series.

There is a new Jack Ryan television series coming to Amazon Prime, bringing the popular Tom Clancy character to the small screen. This new version takes Ryan back to his early days as a CIA analyst and looks like it will focus a lot on his work in war-ravaged countries.

There was another Jack Ryan trailer that hit back in December, but this is a brand-new trailer airing during the Super Bowl for the Jack Ryan Amazon Prime series, and you can watch the trailer below.

One of the most significant questions is how John Krasinski will take on the role of Jack Ryan. Krasinski is the fifth man to play Ryan, following Alec Baldwin (The Hunt for Red October), Harrison Ford (Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger), Ben Affleck (Sum of All Fears), and Chris Pine (Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit). These movies showed Ryan at almost every step of his career, except for his rise to the President of the United States.

John Krasinski appears in the new trailer to take Jack Ryan to the point between Chris Pine’s appearance and Ben Affleck’s. The trailer was pretty impressive, showing Krasinski has the intensity needed (a question mark since his most famous role to date was in The Office).

There are scenes of war-time battles in the Middle East, torture rooms, some romance, and an exposition of former U.S. Presidents talking about world peace and pride. The trailer does enough to get people excited about the Jack Ryan Amazon Prime series without giving away too much.

For those who want to know more, the plot has Jack Ryan as a man who uncovers bank transfers that takes him to Europe and the Middle East to try to figure out a way to stop a growing terrorist cell. From the sound of the promotions for the series, this shows how Jack Ryan became a successful CIA operative.
