A DC Comics streaming service is joining the suddenly very crowded options vying for your dollars.

With Disney streaming coming soon, this is DC Comics way of competing for your superhero love. While Disney will have a Marvel show, the DC Comics streaming service has a couple of projects that will sell it to fans immediately – the revival of Young Justice and a live-action Teen Titans series. However, The Hashtag Show reports that there is yet another reason to subscribe – a Harley Quinn television series.

Not only will the Harley Quinn get her own animated series on the DC Comics streaming app but she will bring a lot of famous bad guys with her. Already announced to appear on the show, in what should come as no surprise, is The Joker – or Mr. J as Harley likes to call him.

From the sound of the leaked storyline, Harley Quinn will be an antihero in this animated series and Joker will be her primary villain. That is a considerable switch because long-time Batman fans remember that Harley Quinn made her debut on Batman: The Animated Series as an original character not in the comics – and she was Joker’s sidekick.

The next character appearing should also be no surprise. That would be Harley Quinn’s BFF, Poison Ivy. According to the leaks, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy will be roommates on the new animated series, and the two will pull off their crimes and heists together – meaning Harley Quinn is still a criminal – just a more sympathetic one.

Other characters leaked to be part of the Harley Quinn series is Sy Borgman, a very obscure villain from the comic books who will play their elderly landlord in the cartoon. Other villains names include Dr. Psycho, Malice Vundabar, King Shark, and possibly the most famous villain announced outside of Joker – Clayface.

The DC Comics streaming service will arrive later in 2018. Harley Quinn will join TitansYoung Justice: Outsiders and a Metropolis prequel show starring Lois Lane and Lex Luther.
