Fear the Walking Dead season 4 will be a good jumping on point

Once a series like Fear the Walking Dead hits its fourth season, many people who didn’t give it a chance are not willing to play catch up with the series.

However, with this new season of Fear the Walking Dead getting some great pre-release reviews, it might be a good time for fans of the original Walking Dead to jump over and see what the fuss is all about.

Honestly, since season 2, Fear the Walking Dead has gotten better and better after a slow start in its first season. The third season is arguably better than season 7 of The Walking Dead and word has it that this fourth season beats anything the original series has done in season 8.

More from The Walking Dead

With Morgan (Lennie James) crossing over from The Walking Dead to Fear the Walking Dead, and no fewer than three brand-new characters joining the show, this is a good time to jump on board — even if you missed the first three seasons of the show.

According to Cinema Blendproducer Andrew Chambliss said that Fear the Walking Dead season 4 is set up so a person with no familiarity of characters or storylines can step right in and not feel like they missed anything.

"“We’ve got so many new faces and so many familiar faces that there’s a different point of view kind of represented in the episode, so it’s very easy for someone to kind of latch onto a particular point of view and just kind of experience this season.”"

Now, for one thing, Fear the Walking Dead season 4 follows a great third season, and while there is a new showrunner, there is hope that the show keeps getting better and doesn’t miss out on what made last year so great. On the other hand, it is nice to know that the series is not stagnating and regurgitating stories, remaining fresh for new fans and creating something new for the returning fans.

Fear the Walking Dead season 4 is jumping ahead in time from the cliffhanger that ended season 3. This was so they could catch up with The Walking Dead and bring on Morgan, but it was also a way to start new stories and introduce new characters for what looks like a fresh start for the spin-off series.

Out of the main characters that started off Fear the Walking Dead, it has only been three seasons and all that is left alive is Madison, Nick, Alicia and Strand. Luciana is returning as well for the fourth season.
