After a brutal wait in between season one and two, fans are rightfully wondering when Jessica Jones will start filming again.

Luckily, Netflix seems to have sped the process up this time around. Spoiler TV reported that filming for Jessica Jones starts today and is expected to end on December 7. This six-month schedule is the same as the previous Marvel series and probably means fans can expect another thirteen episodes.

Since filming has just begun, there have been no big spoilers leaked for season three. However, fans can expect a majority of the original cast to return in some capacity. Krysten Ritter will be back as everyone’s favorite drunken private eye as well as Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, and Carrie-Ann Moss.

Based on the last finale, fans can probably expect some division between all of the characters in this season. Jessica has lost all of her friends and family but gained a glimmer of hope with Oscar and Vito. However, it’s unclear if either actor will be back or in what capacity for season three. It looked like Trish was well on her way to becoming Hellcat when fans caught a glimpse of her enhanced reflexes.

Meanwhile, Malcolm and Hogarth have been thrust together as the sharks of Manhattan. This storyline seems like a ticking clock though, since Jeri’s health was quickly deteriorating the last time we saw her.

Of course, fans mainly want to see what shape the Trish/Jessica relationship will take. The two sisters ended Jessica Jones season two estranged and heartbroken. Many fans were hoping to see Trish embrace a villainous persona rather than the heroic one from the comics. However, both Ritter and Walker have said they find their characters’ relationship to be the heart of the show.

If this is the case, how will the two move past their differences? Certainly, Trish is ready to do makeup but Jessica has been known to carry a grudge. Unfortunately, killing one’s mother is a pretty big mistake to forgive.

Nonetheless, fans can expect more information as the show picks up filming. In the meantime, be sure to watch Jessica Jones on Netflix.
