Robert Funke and Matt Lutsky are the writers behind Becoming A God which will take place in Orlando. The story follows Dunst’s character, Krystal Gill, a water park employee who works her way up in a pyramid scheme that eventually lost her family billions of dollars.

"“In Krystal Gill, Funke and Lutsky have created a truly delicious, sometimes diabolical female character — a dirt poor, very fierce young woman who is relentless in her pursuit of the American dream inside of an Amway-like company.” -Patmore Gibbs"

Alongside Dunst, Funky, Lutsky, and Lanthimos will executive produce the series along with Esta Spalding, who is also a showrunner. Furthermore, Charlie McDowell will be directing.

SonyTV gained a lot of success with their first YouTube production in Cobra Kai, which has just recently been renewed for a second season.
