Pose has been renewed for season two ahead of its season one finale in just a couple of weeks!

FX’s Pose is nearing the end of its premiere season and has just scored a season two renewal. The Ryan Murphy series has a gained a lot of popularity and broken records for having the largest transgender cast of series regulars, ever. The series is incredibly inspiring, creative, and has really shed light on the social and political commentary of 1980’s NYC within the LGBT community.

Just recently Murphy referred to Pose as the “highlight of my career” which is saying a lot considering the amount of work he has done over the years. The series is incredibly unique in its execution, stories, plot, and characters, and there is not currently anything on television like it.

Pose follows the 1980’s ballroom scene in NYC and deals with a lot of sensitive topics surrounding the LGBT community and the HIV/AIDS epidemic that hit during this time period. The show does a great job highlighting the struggles of this time and portrays a reality that many are unaware of.

The most standout aspect of the series is its characters and their complex stories and narratives. It is simply a wonderful show, and it is very exciting to know that there will be more story to tell when the second season begins.

Pose season two is most likely not going to return until 2019, but we still have two episodes left for the first season so there is plenty left to still enjoy!
