Cast promotions in store for next season of 13 Reasons Why
13 Reasons Why is a hit with kids and adults alike; what will the next season have in store for fans?
Two actors with small parts on Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why are getting a bit of an upgrade.
Timothy Grandaderos, who plays bully Montgomery de la Cruz, and T.V. veteran Brenda Strong, who plays Bryce’s mom Nora, will be promoted to series regulars for Season 3.
If you remember last season, Monty harassed many of the witnesses testifying at Hannah Baker’s (Katherine Langford) trial. He also was responsible for committing a heinous sexual assault on Tyler Down. This results in Tyler showing up to the school dance with weaponry to seek revenge.

Nora had suspicions that her son wasn’t the perfect student, athlete, and boyfriend she had thought she raised but elected to keep her mouth shut when accusations gained momentum against him.
No clues have been released about where their storylines might go next season, but now that Hannah’s story is officially over, there is definitely room for more characters to take center stage.
13 Reasons Why premiered in 2017 to both critical acclaim and controversy. The series centers around the suicide of a teenage girl and how her death affects those closest to her. She leaves behind 13 cassette tapes, each a reason for taking her life.
Season 2 focused mainly on the Bakers’ lawsuit against Liberty High School for wrongful death. They felt that the school could have done more to prevent Hannah from taking her life.
Netflix greenlit Season 3 of the hit series shortly after the premiere of Season 2 in June. Production should begin sometime this fall and the new season should be ready by late spring/early summer.
