Fuller House prequel could be in the works
Fuller House may be getting a prequel, that’s if Uncle Jesse has anything to say about it.
Have you ever wondered what life was like in the Tanner house before Fuller House?
If yes, so has John Stamos.
The Full House spin-off series will air its fifth and final season on Netflix later this year.

When Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell asked Stamos about any kind of Fuller House follow-up series, he replied,
"“I’m interested in what happened before Full House. There’s a lot of energy still with that show. And there’s too much happiness that show has brought to a lot of people, so it’s not going to go down easy, I’m not going to let it.”"
That’s reassuring coming from Uncle Jesse himself. Even with 18 more episodes coming, it’s nice to know we may still get more content from the franchise.
One person that won’t be appearing on the final season is Lori Loughlin who has played Aunt Becky and Stamos’ T.V. wife for nearly 30 years. Earlier this year, Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli was charged by the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office in the college admissions bribery scandal.
Stamos serves as a producer for the show. And though he hasn’t filmed any scenes on Fuller House yet, he’s going to try to find out what’s going on with his people. He said,
"“I’m just going to wait a little longer before I talk about it. It’s a difficult situation for everyone involved. I don’t mean just on our side.”"
For me, I wish we would see Aunt Becky on the show to get some closure on her character, but I understand why it may never happen.
As for a prequel, that might be jumping the shark. I’m happy that we got Fuller House for as long as we did, but I think a prequel is too much. Let’s let the Tanners and the Fullers live happily ever after in reruns.
