Report: True Detective Cast Can’t Stop Growing
This post may contain potential spoilers for season two of True detective. You have been warned!
It wasn’t too long ago that we got word that True Detective would be adding three more to its ever-growing roster. By “not too long,” we mean a day. So, yeah. Deadline is now reporting that two more have booked roles for True Detective: Afemo Omilami and Chris Kerson.
Omiliami will play Holloway, a Police Chief and, apparently, series regular. Kerson has also scored a recurring role as Nails, the “survivor of a brutal nail gun attack.” How colorful. Nails will be aligned with Vaughn’s character, Frank Semyon.

The True Detective cast has been exploding recently, as if there is a mad panic to fill roles as quickly as possible. That may not be the reality, but it is the picture that is currently being painted. True Detective casting hasn’t been this active in some time, though at least we finally have all four leads figured out.
Rachel McAdams will join Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, and Taylor Kitsch supposedly this January when True Detective returns. It’s been touch and go whether they were going to make it or not, but HBO still hasn’t confirmed that as the date.
