This edition of This Week in True Detective is coming to you from the future! Sort of. It’s being assembled in advance this week to be hot and fresh for you today. This week we saw a serious flood of leaked pics from the set of True Detective season two, including a special one unlike what we’ve seen before.

Enough teasing, lets begin

True Detective’s Alexandra Daddario made a cameo on the premiere of Fox’s The Last Man on Earth. The show is worthy in its own right, and her appearance makes it all the better. Unfortunately she won’t be a regular.
Vince Vaughn took a break from shooting True Detective in order to help raise money for the Special Olympics. They ended up raising over one million dollars, breaking a record.
We had multiple True Detective season two photo leaks this week which included Rachel McAdams, Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn. Colin Farrell can be seen without his True Detective trademark mustache.
True Detective director Cary Fukunaga’s film Beasts of no Nation was picked up by Netflix.
