Reminder: HBO Now Launching Next Month (Which is Tomorrow)
We’ve been hearing about HBO’s streaming service for a while now, but it’s finally just about ready to launch. Officially unveiled at Apple’s earlier Apple Watch event, HBO Now will be launching in April ahead of the premiere of the fifth season of Game of Thrones. True Detective fans will soon have another avenue to watch the second season whenever it does premiere.

Although HBO didn’t announce an exact date for the launch of the service, considering tomorrow is April first it should quite literally be any day now. HBO Now will allow for the streaming of HBO on Apple devices for those that don’t subscribe to the cable service.
This may cut down on piracy which has been something of a problem for HBO in the past. Offering more ways to view their content is a great way to reach out and change that. Pricing the service at a premium $14.99 will be the real sticking point, making it more expensive than both Hulu and Netflix.
We’ll let you know when the service officially does launch, and soon we’ll have yet another way to watch True Detective. Are there any True Detective fans out there that are interested in HBO Now? Let us know below, on Facebook, or Twitter.
