Welcome to another edition of This Week in True Detective. This past week was kind of a biggie if only because True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto broke his silence. Sort of.
We were also treated to new True Detective season two posters. Everyday brings us a tiny bit closer to True Detective’s season two premiere, so there’s always something to look forward to every week.
Let’s begin.
- First off, we thought about whether or not True Detective should consider carrying a subtitle going forward, not unlike American Horror Story.
- We may have figured out what Rick Springfield’s role may be on True Detective, but some may consider it a spoiler.
- It came out that Christopher Nolan wasn’t too keen on Matthew McConaughey doing True Detective, leading us to wonder if people from the film world realize that we’re in a TV golden age.
- A passionate fan on Reddit put together a guide to the California setting of True Detective season two.
- Vince Vaughn has two upcoming dramas and True Detective’s Alexandra Daddario joined William H. Macy’s new movie.
- Finally, we were tread to four new key image posters for True Detective season two as well as the aforementioned Q&A with Nic Pizzolatto.
